I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Couples Therapy, and I have worked in social services since 1989 and mental health since 1997. For over a decade, I have had the privilege of serving at the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, one of the largest and most diverse county mental health departments in the United States. My experience includes trauma recovery, crisis intervention, psychotherapy, program development, and cultural competency leadership across diverse communities.

Fluent in English and Spanish, I combine professional expertise with personal experience to help people take responsibility for their growth and embrace what I call the SANO® Way of Life, starting again, not over.
